This was an extremely overgrown town garden and the brief was to provide a low maintenance garden with modern clean lines.

Strong foliage shapes and textures combined with clean, crisp paving and walling created a smart, modern garden that links with the house. The terrace was paved with Indian sandstone with a central bench looking out across the garden. The main focus was a group of stone raised beds set at different heights. The beds incorporated a large rock pouring water onto a bed of pebbles.
